Ubuntu Lamp Server for Watch My Domains SED

You can quickly create an Ubuntu LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) server in a few seconds and then use it to host Watch My Domains SED.

Create an account at DigitalOcean and Login

Click the Create button and provide a name for your droplet. In this tutorial we are going to use wmysed.softnik.com as the droplet name. Use one of your domains instead of softnik.com. We also selected a 512MB size because this is just for testing. You can choose a better size and configuration.

Choose a suitable region and then pick Ubuntu 14.x x64 (or whatever you want) for the image. Click on the Applications tab and select LAMP on Ubuntu .... Decide if you want automatic backups (at a slightly extra cost) and then click Create Droplet

The server will be created in a few seconds. Once completed, you will receive an email with the server IP address and root password. The email will look like the following.
